Dutch Fairy Tales for Young Folks, is a collection of Netherlands fairy tales compiled for the young readers by American orientalist William Elliot Griffis, who is ed for authoring more than 100 books including the fairy tales collections such as Japanese Fairy World, Belgian Fairy Tales, Swiss Fairy Tales, Welsh Fairy Tales, Korean Fairy Tales, and Japanese Fairy Tales.

This collection contains more than thirty fairy tales of Dutch origin such as The entangled Mermaid, The boy who wanted more cheese, The princess with twenty petticoats, The cat and the cradle, The boar with the golden bristles, The Elves and their antics, The curly-tailed lion, The mouldy penny, The golden helmet, and Why the Stork loves Holland.
